Taxis

BASIC FARE: 3000 Korean Won.

Cabs are always calculated by the meter. 

Usually 1000 Korean Won is added to the fare for every KM. traveled

NOTE!

these black cabs are more expensive than regular cabs.

The cars tend to be a little larger, and have more experienced drivers.

NOTE!

these silver cabs are regular cabs.

these cabs may be orange as well.

Helpful Tips

* Always ask the drivers to put in your final destination on their GPS. 
    This way you can track the route.

* Don't take cabs if you are in a hurry, as it may take some time to haul a cab.

* All cabs can accept payment through cash, credit cards, or your public               transport card.

* There is no tipping culture in Korea, so it is fine if you don't tip the cab          drivers.

* If you see this sign...

(빈차 means 'empty car')

STICK YOUR HAND OUT AND THE CAR WILL STOP NEAR YOU!

* If you see this sign...

(예약 means 'reserved')

These cars will not stop for anyone as they have been reserved.
